환경설정 기능에서는 음성안내 음량 자동 조절 기능, 정북방향 설정, 길건너 목적지 등을 설정할 수 있어요.
길찾기를 하면 보여지는 이미지가 굉장히 심플해서 길을 인식하기에도 참 좋은 것 같아요.
확대, 축소 등으로 길을 좀 더 가까이에서 보면 주변 상가 등을 좀 더 자세하게 알 수 있어요.
무엇보다 운전자 관점에서 경로안내에 집중할 수 있도록 불필요한 메뉴는 과감히 배재한 심플한 UI가 눈에 띄는 것 같습니다!

[연합통신넷=윤상민 기자]KT(회장 황창규)와 LGU+(부회장 권영수)는 차량용 내비 1위 사업자인 팅크웨어와 손잡고, ‘올레 아이나비’와 ‘U네비’라는 네이밍으로 리뉴얼 런칭한다고 17일 밝혔다.이번에 새롭게 출시되는 내비게이션 서비스는 그 동안 별도로 수집해온 이용자들의 실시간 교통정보를 통합해 양사가 공동 활용할 예정으로 서비스 품질 향상이 기대된다. 양사의 이용자 기반 실시간 교통정보와 15년 이상 내비게이션 사업을 통해 축적한 아이나비의 통계데이터가 결합해 양사의 스마트폰 내비게이션 이용자들은 국내 최고의 경로 데이터를 기반으로 도착 예상시간과 실제 도착시간과의 오차를 줄이고, 경로품질에서 새로운 경험을 할 것으로 예상된다.
또한 두 통신사와 제휴한 팅크웨어는 차량용 내비게이션 사업으로 축적된 노하우와 빅데이터(커버리지, 목적지 정보, 예측교통정보 등)를 활용해 국내 최고 수준의 스마트폰 내비게이션 서비스를 제공하는데 큰 역할을 할 것으로 보인다. 네비게이션의 기본요소인 경로안내는 양사가 동일하지만 각 사에서는 회사만의 기능과 UI를 제공해 차별화 요소를 부각할 예정이다.
KT가 제공하는 ‘올레 아이나비’는 진출입 구간에서 운전자가 직관적으로 방향을 이해할 수 있도록 ‘실사 사진 리얼뷰’를 국내 최초 전국으로 확대 제공한다. 또 지금까지의 길안내는 앱이 제공하는 추천경로 중 하나를 선택할 수 밖에 없었는데 운전자가 선호하는 도로를 지도에서 직접 선택해 경로를 생성하는 ‘경로 설정’ 서비스가 베타버전으로 제공된다.
KT는 ‘올레 아이나비’ 출시에 맞춰 이날부터 다음 달 8일까지 대한민국 운전자라면 누구나 참여가 가능한 ‘올레 아이나비 런칭기념 선물 대잔치’ 이벤트를 진행한다.
이벤트는 ▲ 올레아이나비 다운로드 url을 친구에게 공유하고 추첨을 통해 GS칼텍스, 신세계 상품권 등의 경품을 받을 수 있는 ‘올레 아이나비 친구추천 꿩먹GO, 알먹GO’ ▲ 올레 아이나비 홍보동영상을 공유하고 추첨을 통해 매일 100명에게 스타벅스 아메리카노를 지급하는 ‘동영상 공유하GO’ ▲ 올레 아이나비 홍보웹툰을 공유하고 추첨을 통해 매일 100명에게 배스킨라빈스 싱글킹을 지급하는 ‘올레 아이나비 웹툰도 공유하GO’ 총 3가지다.
LGU+의 ‘U네비’는 ‘CCTV경로 비교’ 기능을 제공한다. ‘CCTV 경로 비교’ 기능은 CCTV를 활용해 직접 교통상황을 확인하고 경로를 선택할 수 있는 기능으로 국내 최초 사용자가 도로의 CCTV를 직접 보면서 막히는 길을 피해 대체 경로를 선택할 수 있도록 한 서비스다. 만약 경로상 CCTV가 있을 경우 회피 경로를 시각적으로 제공해준다는 점에서 다른 내비게이션과 차별점을 두고 있다.
KT 융합서비스개발담당 최정윤 상무는 “‘올레 아이나비’와 ‘U네비’는 두 통신기업의 스마트폰 내비게이션 운영 경험과 내비 전문업체인 팅크웨어와 결합한 최초 서비스다”라면서, “이번 업데이트로 스마트폰 내비게이션에서 경로품질의 고도화는 물론 통신사와 제조사간 대표적인 협력모델로 진화할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
한편, ‘올레 아이나비’는 올레마켓, 구글플레이어를 통해 다운받아 사용할 수 있고, 기존 ‘올레내비’사용자는 업데이트를 통해 이용할 수 있다. 아이폰은 3월중 런칭 예정이다.
